Please keep me anonymous. My question is quite simple and straight to the point. I have been with my girlfriend for a few years now and intend marrying her soon. Her ex also wants her back but she hasn’t told him she is in a new relationship and they talk and chat often. Although she has never hidden the fact that they talk often from me I just kind of wonder if she right by not telling him she is with someone now or am I overreacting?

I see no reason why your girlfriend would not mention her current relationship status to her ex except of course she is planning to go back or just too scared of letting her ex know she has moved on. Since this is of concern to you, I believe the best approach is to talk this out with her and find out what are reasons are.
From her response, you should be able to tell if it was an innocent oversight or a deliberate omission. Most importantly, let her understand how it looks to you and find out if there is a possibility she still hopes to go back to a relationship with her ex. This might make her feel that you do not trust her but its better safe than sorry.
