A 73-year-old South Korean blogger has been ordered to pay $4,400 (approximately 1.5 million Naira) for spreading a strange rumor about 52-year-old Dr. Dre’s plans to wed former first lady 94-year-old Lee Hee-ho. The man was fined for cyber defamation and defamation against the deceased.
According to the post, former first lady Lee Hee Ho would wed the rapper to “launder the late president Kim Dae-jung’s slush funds.” Dae-jung, who lead South Korea from 1998 to 2003, died in 2009. His widow remains active in Korean politics.

It’s unclear whether Hee-ho, 94, is a fan of Dr. Dre, or if the rapper was chosen at random by the perpetrator of the rumor. Neither she nor the Dr Dre has addressed the controversy.
