Cristiano Ronaldo Wants To Return To England

“I’VE never had a problem in England. That’s why I’d like to go back to England.”

That’s what Cristiano Ronaldo told a judge in a Spanish courtroom during his one and a half hour statement on Monday, according to Spanish outlet Cadena SER.
The Real Madrid superstar is at the centre of a tax fraud case, but explained he never had this sort of issue while at Manchester United.
Now top-flight English clubs could be on alert following his comments in court.
“I’ve never had a problem in England. That’s why I’d like to go back to England,” he said.
“I always paid my taxes, always. In England and In Spain. And I always paid. As you know, I can not hide anything, it would be ridiculous on my part to do such a thing.
“I am an open book. you don’t need to do anything but type my name into Google and everything about Cristiano comes out.
“For example, Forbes magazine releases all of my earnings.”
When the €14.7m tax fraud accusations surfaced in June, Portuguese outlet A Bola reported Ronaldo wanted to leave Spain.
Then the outlet added that Los Blancos were preparing themselves for a £157 million bid to pry away Ronaldo.
However, the 32-year-old returned to Madrid after the Confederations Cup and the speculation subsided.
Now, the rumours could rise to boiling point again.
Ronaldo added: “I paid everything in 2014.”
“I don’t understand anything about this, I only went to school until my sixth year and the only thing I know how to do is play football well.
“When my advisors tell me, ‘Cris, it’s okay’ then I believe them.”
If Ronaldo does indeed want to leave Real, then that could solve Zinedine Zidane’s dilemma over a Kylian Mbappe transfer.
