What a way to end the week. Our favourite Nigerian rappers Falz and Ycee were making a solid claim for the best hip-hop collaboration with their hit single ‘Something Light’ and with the release of its video, that award seems even more certain.
The video which was shot by Clarence Peters features trending queens of Instagram comedy Wofai and Maraji as the love interests. The hilarious song is dedicated to broke girls: the ones who order everything off the menu on the first date (with a little extra to take home), constantly beg for airtime and never ever seem to have transport fare. Fittingly, Wofai and Maraji are the funny terrible dates.
