Who Is Getting Relegated?
20. Huddersfield: Despite their complete squad overhaul this summer, they seem destined for the drop as they get set for life in the Premier League for the first time in their history. Manager David Wagner ranks his team as the biggest underdogs in Premier League history but some feel that with the German in charge, they should be optimistic rather than fearful. We at KOKO Nigeria beg to differ. We think he might be up to something there.
19. Swansea: They always seem to just get lucky every season but luck always runs out and it most like would in the 2017/2018 season. Also, manager Paul Clement’s preparations is in limbo due to standoff over Gylfi Sigurdsson and how his side performs may depend on events in rest of transfer window. All in all, it is not looking good for the Welsh club.
18. Brighton: Despite having a brilliant manager in Chris Hughton, you do get the feeling they would quite too impatient with him once they hit a bit of stump. And that would cost them dearly as his replacement would not be able to perform miracles with the team available like Chris did. But Hughton has named Bournemouth and Burnley as blueprints to follow. As with Sean Dyche’s side last year, if Brighton can continue their imperious home form – they lost only twice at the Amex in the Championship last season – they will markedly boost their survival hopes.
