Former Aviation Minister, Femi Fani-Kayode, has spoken about Saturday’s PDP National Convention and hailed it as a “great day”.
Fani-Kayode joined over 3,000 delegates at the Eagles Square in Abuja for the event.
He tweeted afterwards: “Great Convention, great day! PDP forever!”
The non-elective convention was the first of such gathering, since the Supreme Court’s decision to reinstate the National Caretaker Committee (NCC) led by Senator Ahmed Mohammed Makarfi.
Makarfi had his tenure extended by four more months.
At the same event, the party came down hard on some state executive committees, dissolving the ones in Anambra, Adamawa, Borno, Kebbi, Kwara, Lagos, Ogun and Osun states.
