Budding Nigerian artiste, Mayorkun who is signed under Davido’s record label has incurred the wrath of his fans, after revealing that he rented out a whole Cinema in Owerri to watch “Banana Island Ghost”. Seemingly contributing his part to the success of the Chigul’s latest movie the internet thinks he went about it the wrong way.
The highly-anticipated movie reportedly sold-out on its first week at the various cinemas in Lagos, as Nigerians have been throwing in support to ensure it is success. Writing on his Instagram yesterday, the singer revealed that he rented out the cinema just to watch and show support to the movie which premiered nationwide days ago.
Pleased by the performances from the cast, the singer encouraged his followers to go see the movie. “It is such a great movie,” he said. Apparently, Fans are not happy about the singer’s decision to watch the movie alone, when he could have just invited some of his fans, since he rented out the cinema, and the seats were empty.
