Borussia Dortmund star Ousmane Dembele has responded to reports that Barcelona are lining up a big money move for him to replace Neymar Jr.
The Frenchman is seen to be one of the most talented, if not the most, in world football and Barcelona are seemingly keen to test the waters.
With Neymar leaving for Paris Saint Germain, Barcelona are not without a huge transfer budget to replace the Brazilian sensation.
Though, a transfer of Ousmane Dembele would not come cheap with Borussia Dortmund knowing just how much potential this youngster has.
A transfer is likely to cost close to €90m and reports certainly suggest that the club will not care about any fee and are determined to land their guy.
Now, Dembele has responded to those links and has certainly encouraged them if anything.
Speaking in an interview with GOL, Dembele explains: “It is a pleasure to see your name in the list of players that the Barca wants”
Safe to say, that certainly suggests that the player could be open to a move but Barcelona must agree a fee with Dortmund and it will not come cheap.
Coutinho to miss pre-season game
Amid heavy interest from Barcelona, Philippe Coutinho will miss Liverpool’s game against Atheltic Bilbao this weekend.
It is though that the player has a sore back and will not be risked for the game but Barcelona rumours continue to get louder.
Coutinho has been a prime target for the Catalan giants over the past few years and are now looking to push through a deal after Neymar’s departure.
Other reports also suggest that the club will target both Dembele and Philippe Coutinho this summer in what could be a mage double swoop.
