Video of Buhari chatting with Lai Mohammed, Femi Adesina, others in UK emerges [WATCH]

In a bid to convince Nigerians that the Presidential Media Team was with President Muhammadu Buhari in the UK on Saturday, a video of the visit has been published on Aso Rock’s Facebook page.

In the video, Buhari tells Minister of Information, Lai Mohammed: “Lai, I see you everywhere in the press. It’s very good. [Going] by the press you’re working very hard…”

Also part of the trip was Senior Special Assistant on Diaspora Matters, Abike Dabiri-Erewa, Senior Special Assistant Media & Publicity, Mallam Garba Shehu, Special Adviser Media and Publicity, Mr. Femi Adesina and the President’s Personal Assistant Digital/Online Media Lauretta Onochie.

Buhari could be seen in photos receiving a greeting card from the team, which reads “Get well soon”.

A statement has been released by the media team, reassuring Nigerians that the President is doing fine, although no date for his return was confirmed.
