This new vehicle, called the XYT is a modular and very easily-customizable electric car, and guess what? It is built with just 580 body parts! Now, here's where simplicity and minimalism comes to play in automobile technology. It is built by a French auto company.
The idea is to have a society with very simple, energy-saving and space-saving vehicles. So rather than making expensive, luxurious, high-tech and highly complicated electric vehicles, we could just have simple, less-expensive standard vehicles to meet our everyday needs.
It's quite small, it's simple, and it's designed to be customized to fit the needs of the owner, and modified or upgraded over its life.
