Zimbabwean Vimbai Mutinhiri is the latest face of Wana Sambo‘s periodic edit and she’s got us feeling some type of way. The good type! The idea behind the collection, which was tagged ‘Identity’, was birthed with the knowledge of how constant the female form changes according to the stages in a woman’s life.According to the brand, the collection was used to curate a story that shows how a woman’s body must be celebrated for what it is at every stage in her life through her clothes. The Wana Sambo woman is “STRONG, SEXY and EXOTIC. No matter her size, these three words influence her style and attitude to her body’s uncontrollable yet beautiful change”.Vimbai was photographed by Libarty Studios for the Edit, while her hair and makeup was handled by Valerie of Veebeez and Joyce Jacob respectively. The full collection would be released on the 28th of September.
