The most sort after footballing youngster right now is Monaco striker Kylian Mbappe and it has been revealed he is Nigerian-Cameroonian..
The young striker, who has been heavily linked to a world record ,move to Real Madrid, last season took Europe by storm netting 26 goals in all competitions in his first full season at his first shot at senior club level.
Now, it has however been uncovered that the young chap is of Nigerian decent, perhaps shocking most of his Nigerian fans.
His father, Wilfred Mbappe, who is of Cameroonian and Nigerian decent was once a migrant, who migrated to France in a bid to escape financial woes.
To facilitate his naturalization, Wilfred got married to an Algerian-French lady Fayza, an ex-handball player.
According to findings, Kylian was named Adesanmi meaning “The crown has compensated me” (his wikipedia page the striker gave his middle name as Sanmi) by Wilfred in recognition of his Nigerian roots.
Wilfred, also adopted a son, Jirès Kembo Ekoko, a professional footballer of Congolese descent, but has another biological son and younger brother of Kylian named Adeyemi Mbappe, also in recognition of his Nigerian roots.
Adeyemi is a Yoruba name meaning “the crown befits you.” Indeed, Adeyemi is the reason why Kylian celebrates his goals by posing with his arms crossed and thumbs up.
“This is how my younger brother celebrated when he beat me in the FIFA video game,” said Mbappe.
Unfortunately, there is nothing Nigeria can do about his nationality Kylian is French for life
