GOMSU Proposed Academic Calendar for 2017/2018 Session Released

The management of Gombe State University (GSU) has released the proposed calendar of academic activities for the upcoming 2017/2018 Academic Session.

The Gomsu academic calendar is as follows;

First Semester:

• October 14th, 2017 — All Student Arrive.
• October 16th, 2017 – October 28th, 2017 — Two (2) Weeks Registration of All Students.
• October 30th, 2017  to  November 4th, 2017 — Late Registration for All Students with Fines.
• November 1st 2017 – December 22nd 2017 — Eight (8) Weeks Lectures.
• December 23rd, 2017 – January 7th, 2018 — Two (2) Weeks Mid-Semester Break.
• January 8th, 2018 – February 10th, 2018 — Five (5) Weeks Lectures.
• February 12th, 2018 – March 3rd. 2018 — Three (3) Weeks First Semester Examination.
• March 5th, 2018 – March 17th, 2018 — Two (2) Weeks First Semester Break.

Second Semester:

• March 19th, 2018 – May 12th, 2018 — Eight (8) Weeks Lectures.
• May 14, 2018 – May 26th, 2018 — Two (2) Weeks Mid-Semester Break.
• May 28th, 2018 – June 30th, 2018 — Five (5) Weeks Lectures.
• July 2nd, 2018 – July 21st, 2018 — Three (3) Weeks Second Semester Examination.
• July 2nd 2018 – August 25th, 2018 — Eight (8) Weeks Marking, Compilation, Departmental, Faculty and Senate Meetings on Examinations Results.
